Not included in Hunt CostEXCLUSIVE ONE-TO-ONE GUIDE SERVICE: We offer this at a additional $1,000 per hunt cost. This must be requested at least 60 days prior to arrival to be sure of guide availability. NON-HUNTERS: We can accommodate non-hunters at the lodge for a fee of $100.00 per day. If you want your non-hunter to accompany you during your time in the field this will be charged the same rate as a HUNTING PARTNER. All Subject to outfitters judgment. YOUTH HUNTERS: All hunter 14 and under Hunt Free. All hunter 15-18 Hunt for 1/2 Price on all big game hunts. AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION: Plan on arriving midday the day before your hunt start date. For air transportation fly into Rapid City, South Dakota the closest airport to our location. We suggest you rent a vehicle as most hunters fill early and there are many beautiful sights to see in the Black Hills. We are located just 25 miles from Deadwood, South Dakota and only an hour from Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse Monuments. Devil’s Tower is only 70 miles from our lodge. Round trip transportation is available from the airport at $200.00 per person or $400 for groups of 4 or more. HUNTER SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: No person born on or after January 1, 1966 for Wyoming may take any wildlife by the use of firearms, unless the person possesses and can exhibit a certificate of competency and safety in the use and handling of firearms. Wyoming grants reciprocity to other states, countries or provinces providing recognized hunter safety certificates. Exhibit of certificates are not required to apply for or obtain a license; however certificates must be carried in the field. The minimum age to hunt in Wyoming is 12. LICENSE FEES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE HUNT. LICENSES: Most State licenses are on a drawing system. We are anxious to help you in securing the permits for your hunt. We help you fill out all license applications. Most of our hunts have draw odds of 100%, this information is found on each hunt description. DOE HUNTS & LICENSES: In order to maintain quality hunting, we carefully regulate the number of does we harvest on our leases. If you desire to harvest a doe on your hunt, ask about the availability when you book your hunt. CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS. TAXIDERMY, TROPHY CARE AND MEAT PROCESSING: When your Animal is bagged, your guide will take care of field dressing. Taxidermy work and meat processing are available locally. The cost of meat processing and taxidermy work is your responsibility. If you can't take the meat home, it can be donated to the local food bank. The cost of meat processing will still be your responsibility. Meat cutting charges run $80.00 and up, depending on customer preference for dry ice and shipping boxes. Taxidermy work is approximately $500.00 and up for a shoulder mount, plus shipping and crating. If you want to take your head home to a local taxidermist it is possible. Antelope heads can be frozen and packed with your meat. Heads taken home by commercial airliners require special care. We strongly advise you to contact your airline prior to your trip and find out their regulations. The airlines have recently made it difficult to take heads home as baggage. Heads can be left to be caped, boxed and shipped by local taxidermists; the charge is your responsibility. We urge you to check on your home state laws in regards to transporting meat and heads back from Wyoming with regard to chronic wasting disease. WEATHER: The
weather can and will have a profound effect on your hunting sometimes in a positive manner sometimes in a negative manner.
