Our Philosophy on Hunting

We Believe in going where the trophies live. This mean hunting different species in different areas. All Hunts are exclusively fair chase. We limit the number of hunts in order to maintain a high quality hunt. Our hunts are an affordable value for such high quality and success.   Our management practices involves harvesting female/immature species at times in order to maintain sound male/female ratios.

Antelope heads can be frozen and packed with your meat. Heads taken home by commercial airliners require special care. We strongly advise you to contact your airline prior to your trip and find out their regulations. The airlines have recently made it difficult to take heads home as baggage. Heads can be left to be caped, boxed and shipped by local taxidermists; the charge is your responsibility. We urge you to check on your home state laws in regards to transporting meat and heads back from Wyoming with regard to chronic wasting disease.

During the fall weather can change from 90 degrees during the day to freezing at night. Roads may be muddy and to wet to travel in the morning and dry in the same afternoon. We will hunt in bad weather, but safety and ranch road rules will be the deciding factors about leaving camp. November & December hunts can get very cold. Mule Deer hunting involves sitting in the dark for about an hour so be sure to bring clothing that will keep you warm. Prior to your hunt go to the internet site Weather Channel and search Newcastle WY. Checking out the long range forecast will help you prepare for your hunt. No extra days will be awarded or refunds given to lost hunting opportunity or season closures.
