The weather can and will have a profound effect on your hunting sometimes in a positive manner sometimes in a negative manner. During the fall weather in Wyoming can change from 90 degrees during the day to freezing at night. Roads may be muddy and to wet to travel in the morning and dry in the same afternoon. We will hunt in bad weather, but safety and ranch road rules will be the deciding factors about leaving camp. November in Wyoming can get very cold. Mule Deer hunting involves sitting in the dark for about an hour so be sure to bring clothing that will keep you warm. Prior to your hunt go to the internet site and search Newcastle WY. Checking out the long range forecast will help you prepare for your hunt. No extra days will be awarded or refunds given to lost hunting opportunity or season closures. Any additional cost for motels, meals, etc. under these circumstances is not the responsibility of Dampier Hunting Lodge.
